ITA is Italy’s new flag carrier. Established in 2020, the airline began its operation in 2021. The Ministry of Italy owns this airline and is the successor of Alitalia. Business Classic	This travel class passengers can carry 1 checked luggage weighing max 32 kg from/to Europe and North Africa
Superior	Passengers travelling in Superior class can take up to 2 checked bags. Meanwhile, each bag’s weight shouldn’t be more than 23 kg.
Superior Classic	Travellers can carry one piece of checked in this cabin class. Additionally, the bag’s weight should not exceed than 23 kg.

Check-in 

ITA Airways offers passengers different check-in options which they can use as per their convenience. Meanwhile, here are different types of ITA Airways Check-in options:

Online Check-in

The travellers can do an online check-in at least 48 hours before the departure. Whereas, the passengers travelling flights to/from the USA can do online check-in 24 hours prior to the departure. However, the travellers can complete is check-in an hour prior to departure for international flights and up to 40 minutes prior to departure for domestic flights.

Airport Check-in 

This airline also offers an airport check-in option for passengers who are unable to complete the process online. Meanwhile, the time limit for Domestic flights and the Schengen area is 40 minutes. Whereas, for International long-haul flights and extra Schengen area is 60 minutes. However, the passenger should make sure to arrive 2-3 hours before the scheduled departure time.
