It was founded in 1997, and the headquarters is Humberside Airport in North Lincolnshire. Meanwhile, its operating bases are Aberdeen International Airport, East Midlands Airport, Humberside Airport, Cornwall Airport, and Newquay. Fare Classes 

Eastern Airways provides three fare options on its flights. Meanwhile, it has only one travel class but the travellers can increase their travel comfort by choosing from Value, Standard and Flexible Fares:

Seat Selection	Travellers can select Premium seats for £17.99 or the Standard Seats for £7.99	Passengers can choose premium seats for £11.99 or Standard seats at £5.99	Both premium and standard seats are free for these fare holders.
Eastern Airways Flight Change and Refund	These fare tickets are non-changeable and non-refundable	Travellers can modify flight bookings before departure at £35.00/€45.00 along with the applied difference in fare per person each way. Meanwhile, these fares are also non-refundable.	Passengers can make flight changes for free prior to the departure. Whereas, for route change, they have to pay fare difference and name changes can be done at £50 per person for each flight. Meanwhile, flexible fares are non-refundable.
Lounge and Fast Track security services	–	–	Travellers are also provided services like fast track, and lounge access. However, these services are provided at applicable airports.

Eastern Airways Baggage Allowance 

Eastern Airways Baggage Allowance rules are different for both hand baggage and checked/hold baggage. Meanwhile, here are the size and weight regulations set by the airline.

Size	The bag size should not be more than 55cm x 35cm x 20cm, including wheels and handles.	The luggage size can be up to 78cm x 50cm x 32cm, along with wheels and handles.
Weight	Value fare holders can carry a bag weighing up to 7 kg. Meanwhile, the Passengers having Standard and Flexible fare can carry a bag weighing up to 10 kg.	Standard Fare passengers can carry a bag weighing up to 15 kg. However, for Flexible fares, the bag’s weight shouldn’t be more than 23 kg.
Baggage price	–	For Value and Standard fare holders, the online price per 15 Kg bag is  £30 each way and the airport fee is £50 each way.
		For flexible fares, the online charge per 23 kg bag is £30 each way. Meanwhile, the baggage purchase charges for 15 kg are £50 at the airport.
Excess Baggage	–	In case of excess luggage passengers have to pay the baggage fee of £10 per kilo. Additionally, the excess baggage weight shouldn’t be more than 32kgs.

Important Note: Passengers should keep in mind that all baggage fees are non-refundable. 

Eastern Airways Check-in 

Travellers can do Eastern Airways Check-in through both online and offline methods. Meanwhile, this regional airline’s online check-in is available within 48 hours to a maximum of 3 hours prior to the scheduled flight time. However, the passengers check in at the airport counter from 3 hours to 1 hour prior to the scheduled departure.  

Important Note: Travellers must know that online check-in is currently provided only for the reservations made to the routes: London Gatwick – Newquay, Wick – Aberdeen, and Humberside – Newquay. Meanwhile, online check-in is currently unavailable for international travel.

• Saving up to 40% on 5 flexible fares on each route.
• Unlimited flight change before flight departure.
• Travelers having this pass can carry hold baggage up to 30 Kg. 
• Free Standard Seat allocation during check-in.

Pet Travel

Only passengers with disabilities can travel with a guide or assistance dogs on Eastern Airways flights. Meanwhile, the certified assistance dogs can be carried on the flight free of charge. However, the passengers should make requests by calling the airline customer services at least 48 hours prior to the departure.
