Jet2 is the UK’s third largest low-cost airline. Its headquarters is at Leeds Bradford International Airport in England. Meanwhile, this airline operated its first flight in 2003. Travel Classes

Seat allocation

Flight Change and Refund

• Passengers can make name or date changes by paying a £40 administration fee (or local currency equivalent) along with fare difference (if any) per person, per one-way flight.

• Passengers can cancel their flight but they will not be entitled to a refund of the price paid. 
• However, travellers can take comprehensive travel insurance during the flight booking to cover unforeseen events that may prevent them from travelling as planned.

Jet2 Check-in

Online Check-in (via the website or app)

Jet2 online check-in can be done from 28 days up to 6 hours prior to the flight’s scheduled departure. Meanwhile, the airline can’t provide online check-in service for flights from Turkey.

Airport check-in

The airline’s airport check-in usually begins at least 2 hours 30 minutes till 40 minutes before the flight’s scheduled departure. Additionally, travellers facing any issues during online check-in can get them checked in at the airport counter.

Twilight Check-in

Travellers can do Twilight Check-in, if they have a flight before 12 pm, departing from Birmingham, Bristol, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool, London Stansted, Manchester or Newcastle. Meanwhile, they must get checked in online beforehand. If passengers haven’t done the online check-in, they can’t use Twilight Check-in and have to check in at the airport on the departure day.

Child travel 

Jet2 allows children of age 14 years old or above can travel alone on its flights. • The airline offers a main course meal, hot or cold drinks, alcoholic beverages, sandwiches, pizzas and other tasty treats. 
• Passengers can select and pay for in-flight meals and sandwiches during the booking or to the existing booking. 
• However, they can pre-book sandwiches up to 6 days before the flight or meals up to 48 hours before the flight on routes over 2 hours and 25 minutes.
• Travellers who have pre-booked a meal before flying will receive complimentary Yorkshire tea, Starbucks Coffee or water with their meal. 
• The airline also offers special meal choices for kids along with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free in-flight meals. 
• If passengers haven’t pre-ordered meals online, there will also be an inflight menu and service consisting of lighter meals.

Special Assistance 

Passengers having disabilities, mobility issues or medical issues are offered special assistance services. Meanwhile, travellers requiring any special service like a wheelchair, or any medical equipment must inform the airline at least 48 prior to the flight departure. 

Assistance Dog travel

Jet2 only permits registered assistance dogs who are microchipped, vaccinated and have valid pet passports on its flights. Additionally, the assistance dogs should be trained by an organisation that’s an accredited member of the International Guide Dog Federation (IGDF) or an organisation having full membership criteria of Assistance Dogs International (ADI).
